Day 1210-Popping In For A Bit.... [ Sunday, 05//11//08 @ 5:20pm ] nikitas_lair [ mood | melancholy ] Well, how the hell is everyone? I've been busy with work and trying to write when I can. Plus, I squeezed in two viewings of Ironman(Yeah, baby!) and Speed Racer(Stay away!). So far, Ironman is the movie to see then Prince Caspian, Indiana Jones 4 and more. Is it me or does the guy that plays Prince Caspian look pretty hot? Anyway, I should've listened to that inner voice that questioned seeing Speed Racer....why didn't I listen? See, I grew up watching the reruns before school and Speed was my first anime, so he's kinda special, plus the Mach 5 is a sweet ride. I know the Bros Wachowski are fans but I sorry to say that they didn't do justice to Speed Racer. Sure by today's standards the anime is dated but it's still good. The movie isn't, though there were a few...and I mean FEW ok scenes but not enough to redeem the movie in my eyes. Their next project is Ninja Scroll....lord help us. Jubei! Squishy, thanks for posting more of "Of Love, Hate & Lust", something good to read! Thanks >lj user"dramagirl001"> for sending my part of the Super Heroine fic....we really need a title. Well, I must go. I worked on saturday, so I didn't get stuff done like laundry which I'll put off till tomorrow and wash my hair tonight. Update news [ Thursday, 05//08//08 @ 9:55am ] night_writes [ mood | determined ] [ music | Eminem: White America ] Just wanted to let y'all know that I've finally started to work on the last chapter of LMLH... ya know... like a year later. I've actually tinkered with it for a while, but never very much and it somehow got left behind in my notebooks and never got copied over like the other stuff I'm working on. Sooooooo yeah... can't tell you when I'll finish it, but I did want to let those of you, if any, that are still interested that I haven't abandoned it and there is light at the end of the tunnel, but you shouldn't head towards the light carol-anne! .......o.O sorry, wrong fandom. oh, ha, ha, ha the joke is not funny. Well, shit. Wish I had better knews for you all, but that's about it. I've got about 10 fics that I'm working on right now and god-only-knows when I'll fucking finish 'em so I can finally fucking post them. I'm so dried up in the fandom. Whatever. Day 1209-I Need To Get A Computer, Laptop, iPhone.....Something! [ Saturday, 05//03//08 @ 1:35pm ] nikitas_lair [ mood | working ] I'm beginning to get tired of these long gaps in LJ updates. I remember a long time ago in a place far away, I used to update everyday. (Hey, that rhymed!) The only plausible item of the 3(comp, laptop, iPhone) is the iPhone, but when I expect to have money, plans fall through. I was going to get it with the stimulus package money that I did finally receive yesterday, but it was $300, not the $600 I thought. Oh well, it's extra money so that's ok. Plus I'm still working so eventually, it will happen. Just paid my cell phone bill, speaking of phones and did it online like I used to do with my mom's phone. I have over 1500 rollover mins for marathon calls. LOL! My biggest thing is texting though. I have one fast thumb! Haven't gone over my limit in a while but have come close. Weird that I had over 700 texts last billing period. Just doesn't seem like it but I text A LOT! Other things going on.... Well, have new stuff for Dangerous Secrets that only my muse has seen and I shall be tweaking and adding new content. Hopefully it turns out ok. The story has grown with the addition of a new character that helps Julian but could her price be too high? And what does she stand to gain? Her motives? We shall see. ;-) Personally, I like the new character. She gives a new dynamic that DS didn't have. Sure Nikolai has issues, seems kinky and twisted but tlc? Who gives their captive tlc? What effect is Orlando having on him besides the obvious? Stay tuned....whatever I post it. In other news, we have a new roommate and his name is....Karl. No, he doesn't look like Mr. Urban(dammit!) but he is cute! Nice, good voice, tall, loose curly brown locks, brown eyes. He reminds me of someone but can't put my finger on who? Has this innocent look at times too. I'll find out more in the coming days. ;-) The crew is back at work, well most of them plus 3 new people. 2 may not work out because....not getting certain concepts. One is trying and seems to be getting it but the other want to do their own thing and keeps committing 'no, no-s'. Don't think they will last much longer.
